zaheer works with the wood's natural contour rather than against it, using resin and joinery only to stabilize and reveal, never to disguise.

Zaheer Ahmad Awan has spent more than 16 years working with natural timber, learning to recrecognize the grain, shape and character hidden inside every slab.

His work is defined by petience, precision and respect for the material. Every piece is finished by hand in his workshop in Lahore.
